Starting out
Recognise useful skills from education, caring, volunteering, projects, hobbies and everyday responsibilities—and learn how to explain them.
Applications open · Free seven-day pilot
CareerMile helps you understand where you are, recognise the evidence you already have and take a practical next step—whether you are starting work, changing direction or ready to progress.
No payment required. We ask for honest feedback in return.
Built for real career journeys
CareerMile starts with your situation rather than assuming everyone has the same goal, confidence or work history.
Recognise useful skills from education, caring, volunteering, projects, hobbies and everyday responsibilities—and learn how to explain them.
Work out what should come with you, what needs to change and which opportunities deserve your time.
Capture evidence, build confidence, prepare for greater responsibility and make progression conversations more useful.
The pilot
This is not an exam. We are testing CareerMile—not testing you.
A brief introduction helps us provide the most relevant version.
Complete the starting assessment and one route relevant to you.
Return when useful and notice what helps, confuses or feels unnecessary.
Share what worked and what should change. Polite praise is less useful than the truth.
What you receive
The CareerMile principle
Progress does not require having your whole career figured out. It begins with one useful next step.
CareerMile will not promise a job or promotion. It is designed to help you make clearer decisions, communicate your value and take action with better evidence.
